Bromley

Bromley is one of the few ski resorts in the northern hemisphere that faces south (that is, into the warm sun). That makes it thermally warm, but the people that work and ski there are pretty warm and friendly too.

In Late February, Bromley hosts the Kare Andersen telemark festival. If you're a tele person, it's great fun to meet up with the tribe, take part in a race (no matter how slow you are, I will finish after you!), and take part in the (IMHO) best post-race raffle ever. (There are so many prizes that you're almost certainly going to win something.)
