The Peak Lodge provides food and booze to skiers (and non-skiers) who arrive via the K-1 Gondola. (Non-skiers can ride gondola back down after sightseeing) On a clear day, the view from the top is amazing -- you can see all the way from the Presidential Mountains in New Hampshire to Whiteface in New York.

Tips
This lodge gets crowded on peak days. I would not consider visiting between 11:30am and 1:30pm. There has been some friction in the past with non-skiers arriving and "squatting" on an entire table for hours while waiting for their skiing family and friends.
I don't know the cost of a non-skier ticket to ride the gondola (I think it was $30 the last time I checked). That's expensive, and the high ticket prices are meant to manage the crowding at the peak.
The "everything" Bloody Mary at the bar is legendary. (I think it also costs $22.) You should have one just for the picture.
